Me: Where were you when the first plane crashed?
Uncle: I was on my way to my building which is 3 blocks away from the twin towers.
Me: What was your reaction when you heard the first building was knocked down?
Uncle: I didn’t believe it until i went to my balcony and the air was really smoky and thought that smoke I can see
fire and i was just shocked and i thought the whole thing was a dream.
Me: Were you scared that your building was going to be attacked after what happened to the Wtc?
Uncle: To be true with you i really thought that world was coming to and end because everything looked so dead and i was looking
to see what happened on TV to the first building and when I came back outside the second plane attacked and then I just couldn’t
watch anymore and I busted into tears.
Me: When the attack occurred who was the first person came to your mind?
Uncle: My best friend Mike who was in the Wtc that day to drop something off and unfortunately he passed away
Me: I am very sorry to hear that. Have you done anything to raise money for 9/11?
Uncle: Yes, I have been painting for 4 years now and I jus sold my first 2 paintings for a total of 63,000 dollars.
